Helping your child do everyday things with confidence

What is Sensory Integration Therapy?

This therapy helps children process and respond better to sensory information—like touch, sound, smell, movement, and visuals. It helps the brain make sense of the world in a calm and organized way.

Why It Matters

Some children react too much or too little to everyday sensations. This can make it hard for them to focus, play, eat, or learn. Sensory Integration Therapy helps balance their responses so they feel more comfortable and in control.

When Should You Consider It?

You may need this therapy if your child:

• Covers ears or avoids certain sounds

• Dislikes being touched or wearing certain clothes

• Is always moving or can’t sit still

• Gets overwhelmed in noisy or bright places

• Is very picky about food textures

• Has trouble paying attention or calming down
